The Reggio Emilia Montessori Center is an awardee selected for the first phase of New York City’s “Family Enrichment Center” (FEC) expansion plan. We are launching and co-designing a community-driven Center in the Mott Haven/Melrose. The Family Enrichment Center (FEC) model is a family-centered, place-based primary prevention approach, where all members of the community have access to and may benefit from both structured or spontaneous activities and events (called “offerings”) that strengthen family protective factors to increase child and family well-being and promote stability. FEC offerings are available to everyone.
